  1. Looks interesting! You have a typo in the title -- it's "decent" not "descent"!

  2. Well, this could be cool!

Who are you, anonymous? I don;t mean that you have to provide your name and address LOL but what got you interested in starting this?

  3. Interesting idea. I am PCUSA now, but I grew up Lutheran (note that there's no letter "i" in the word). Interested to see where it goes! Thanks for the heads up.

  4. Thanks but no thanks Anon. My Presbyterianism although representing true Westminster Standards Presbyterian thought is not something that the PC(USA) would be interested in.

The PC(USA)gave up on historical Presbyterianism years ago. As late as the 1920s the PC(USA) was in a sad state.

You would not be interested in my blog here. The Puritan and Calvinistic tradition is not something that is represented in this body anymore.

Thank you very much for the kind offer to join the blog ring though.

  5. Nate, you can't say "no" without being sour about it?

  6. I'm sorry that Nate said no with such speed. While I feel no personal affinity for "Westminster Standards Presby thought" I would certainly be interested in learning about his thoughts and POV and regret that he assumes otherwise.

I'm in --when I have some time later today to figure out what exactly a blogring is and how it works.

  7. I do not believe that I am sour. I said thank you and kindly declined.

I am sure that what I have to say would not be what you are all looking for here. If you want to see what I have to say feel free to visit my blog

    PRESBYTERIAN THOUGHTS:living a well-thought-out life.

You can access it by clicking on my name.

Believe me...you do not want the conservative types such as myself...we are an unwelcomed bunch in the PC(USA).

I am sorry to say it...but that is the truth.
