  1. I updated my blog and it didn't reinclude the Presbyterian bloggers html. Could you resend it to me so that I can put it back into my blogpage?

  2. How long does it take to add new bloggers to your group? A friend said their blog was on the Presbyterian Bloggers, but it has not yet been added...

  3. I also updated my blog (always reformed; always reforming) and the html code for our ringsurf did not transfer. Can you resend it to me?

  5. I tried to add my blog, Work in Progress.
    It's at:
    www.rutheverhart.com/blog
I was a failure at getting the text on my dashboard. Help!

  6. I just started a blog. Since I am a retired PCUSA minister, I'd like to join the Presbyterian Bloggers ring. I tried the link on your website, but it didn't work. Can you help?

  7. I've got the ringsurf on my site, but seem to have popped out of the blogroll on the site. Can I be added back in?

  8. I loved the question about the end or death of our denomination. For those who are interested in pursuing this conversation further, not just about the Presbyterian denomination, but the Church as we know it, please visit faith4tomorrow@blogspot.com. I would love to hear from you. Thank you, moderator, for entertaining the question so thoughtfully. We MUST start talking about this as a very real possibility rather than shying away from it.

  9. We are just starting our search for a new Associate Pastor. Any suggestions from the bloggers out there on ways we could post online to spread the word outside of our normal Presbytery search? Thanks!

  10. I changed the name of my blog from "Central Park Bench" to "Not So Reserved".

There does not seem to be a contact email for the Presbyterian Bloggers blog to whom I can communicate this change.

I went to Ringsurf to update the information for my participation in our webring, created an account there, and submitted a request to be in the Presbyterian Bloggers webring. That request was approved, but it does not seem to be reflected in the list of community members.

Just curious about who to talk with about this.

  11. Stewart, a quick response:

    1) The email address is in the sidebar under "send us your ideas for discussion."

    2) We got your blog name/focus update and it will be posted in the regular Monday morning Member Meet and Greet next week. As for how the title of your blog appears in the blogroll (Members of Our Community - new!) that comes directly from Blogger. I just enter the URL and it pulls the title from your actual blog. If you'd like it to read otherwise, I can certainly edit the listing for you manually (or you can change the way your blog is registered with Blogger).

Feel free to comment here or send an email to PCUSAblog@gmail.com with further questions!

  12. Thanks Sarahlynn. The publicity in the members meet and greet was more than I was asking for, and greatly appreciated.

I have been poking around in my Blogger settings where I had already changed the title of my blog. If the Community Members list is picking up blog titles from Blogger then I don't know what to do. Perhaps a manual change by you is what is needed at this point.

    Thanks!

  13. I seem to have disappeared from the Blogger list and my blog ring link disappeared when I changed my template. Now what?
I could use a new blog ring link and how to.

  14. St. Inuksuk, I've manually added you back onto the blogroll. To show up in the web ring, the ringsurf html code has to show up on your blog. Instructions are here: http://www.ringsurf.com/ring/pcusa/

Please feel free to email (link under "Topics for Discussion" in the sidebar) if you have any questions!

  15. I've been trying to get my blog added to the presbyterian bloggers ring but i keep getting a "temporary unavailable" message and have been for several weeks. My blog is http://transformingfollowers.blogspot.com/. Can anyone help?

  16. Dear Sarah Lynn, Thanks for the welcome. I didn't expect it at all, and such a nice one too.

  18. Some time ago, I requested that my new blog (neoorthodoxology) be included on Presbyterian Bloggers and have heard nothing since. I kndow it takes time, but this is ridiculous!

  19. Fred, I don't have the URL for your new blog (here in your comment or in archived PCUSAblog gmail). I do have records of our September 2008 conversation about you choosing to remove your blog from the blog roll, but nothing since. And your new blog doesn't show up as "pending" over at our Ringsurf admin site. (This generally indicates that the Ringsurf code isn't displayed properly on the blog. That code is what triggers us to add members to the web ring and blog roll.)

If you let me know which blog you'd like to add, I'll investigate further. It would also be helpful if you could let me know when/where/how you requested that your new blog be included in the blog roll so I can determine how it slipped through the cracks.

  20. Could whoever is in charge please add my current blog? I'm on the list under the name of my old blog -- Search the Sea --- but I seem to have made a permanent move to Metanoia (to which I hope you will have a link via my name). Thanks!

    Robin

  21. Greetings!
Question: I jumped through all the hoops and wonder if there's an email verification that I joined? Or somewhere my blog should be listed as a member...?
    It's The Preacher's Husband at http://preachershusband.blogspot.com

    Thanks
